Shannon's Child Care and Preschool has been providing quality child care and preschool for families in the Portland metro area since 1986.
We are a Enhanced Certified Family Child Care Facility regulated by the State of Oregon.
We participate in the USDA Food Program, and are Nationally Affiliated. We are a Enhanced DHS Provider able to accept Oregon DHS payments at a full rate.
We provide elite care for infants, as well as full care for toddlers and preschoolers.
We offer an extensive Preschool and Kindergarten Readiness Program which is included with our regular child care.

We are Open and Providing Child Care and Preschool
We have been granted, by the State of Oregon, a Emergency License to provide child care during the pandemic.
We have updated our staff training and have implemented new drop-off and pickup procedures.
We have instituted additional cleaning and sanitizing measures, and are following or exceeding current state and federal guide lines.
We have remained open and have provided child care to those families that are in need even as others chose to temporarily close.
We will continue to update policies and procedures that will insure the children's physical safety and emotional well being.
